Passive Voice
Passive voice is a type of sentence in which the subject is changed, which was originally at the doer to the recipient of the action. This sentence focuses on the recipient of the action, not the doer. So, in this sentence the subject of the sentence does not take action but receives action. At the end of the verb, usually end in -ed, -en, -d, -t, -n, or -ne.
For the example : My mouse was broken, The building is made, My task must be done, and others
Characteristics :
Always form of the verb to be
Past participle
The subject is being acted upon
The subject isn't acting
Formula :
Simple Present Tense, S + is/am/are + V3
Simple Past Tense, S + was/were + V3.
Simple Future, S + will be + V3
Simple Past Future, S + would/should + be + V3
Present Continuous, S + is/am/are + being + V3
Past Continuous, S + was/were + being +V3
Future Continuous Tense, S + will be + V3
Past Future Continuous Tense, S + would/should + be + V3
Present Perfect Continuous Tense, S + have/has + been + V3
Past Perfect Continuous Tense, S + had + been + V3
Future Perfect Continuous Tense, S + would + have + been + V3
